Often times these products use “bait” attractants that are composed of food items like peanut butter that can be attractive to dogs and cats. If your pets eat these then they could be very sick, or if they get into a larger dose, perhaps even fatal if not given emergency treatment.

Bed Bug Bully All Natural Pest Control

ant killer safe for cats

Okay, so the name of the best all natural ant killer is actually, Bed Bug Bully. Don’t let this put you off though, the truth is that this formula can actually be used for many different pests. Why? Well, because the formula effects them much the same way. This is also a bonus for you if you have any worries about your home being infested with bed bugs, because this spray makes quick work of them as well. Think you can’t get them? Think again. Ever go to hotels? Have any used furniture? You wouldn’t believe how easy it is to get them.ant killer safe for kids and pets

The main ingredients for Bed Bug Bully are all natural, and the company lists all of them on their website. If you’re asking yourself how you can kill bugs without any poison, the answer is that insect bodies work differently than mammal’s bodies. Insects have an outer membrane which this product disintegartes. This eventually kills the ants, but it does not harm dogs, cats or people because our bodies just don’t work that way. It’s an innovative process that allows for Bed Bug Bully to be completely natural while also being extremely effective.

The spray will kill ants immediately, but it also works as a barrier. You can spray it around your house, wherever you’ve seen ants, and it will protect that area for 30 days. After that you’ll need to make another application, so it’s advisable to purchase the gallon size to make sure you have enough to treat your whole house and for re-application. If you’re interested in trying this excellent product for yourself, then you can pick some up at the manufacturer’s website.

Where should I spray to get rid of my ant problem?

When attempting to get rid of ants, you’ll obviously start where you’ve seen them. For most people this is food preparation areas such as pantries, countertops or tables. There are however many other areas of the home which will be appealing to ants and you should make sure to get these areas very good as well!

The second most attractive area in your home to ants will be water sources. That’s why you might see them in your bathrooms, even if there’s no food. Spray around the sinks, toilets, showers and tubs to make sure any ants who come seeking water are quickly dealt with.

You’ll also want to create a barrier around any doors or windows in your home. These areas are often places where ants can sneak in through tiny cracks you may not notice. Putting up a barrier around entry points is a good way to deter more ants from trying to come in once you get rid of your current collection of six legged pets.

If you find a trail of ants somewhere in the house, then make sure to follow them! These little food collectors will lead you right back to their nest where you can proceed to spray the crap out of it. If they vanish behind something, make sure to spray the entrance thoroughly as more ants will pass this way to go home. When they do they will bring the product back to the next, killing more ants.

Remember that you will likely need to apply the product multiple times. Ants are resilient, and they don’t die easily. You’ll need to kill the nest, and for that you may need at least a gallon of ant killer in order to get all of them and have enough left over to re-apply it for continued protection.

Do the ants die right away?

In some cases the ants may die immediately, but in others you may be confused as you see the ant scurry away, seemingly unscathed. Due to the way the product works, sometimes it will take a while for them to die. This is not always a bad thing though. As previously stated, ants build nests. If the ants don’t die immediately, then they do the work for you when they transfer your ant killer back to their homes where more ants can be exposed to it.

Make sure to follow the instructions exactly and you should be good to go in getting rid of your ant problems. You also won’t have to deal with any nasty chemical smells and you can sleep easy knowing your kids and pets are all safe from harmful chemicals since you chose to use an all natural product.

Estimate the size of the area you need to treat and get enough to treat those areas at least a couple more times to make sure all of the ants are dead. You may want to get enough to continue to put up a barrier if you have seasonal ant problems to keep them from trying to come back in.
